About Alessandro Tiezzi
After his first professional experiences in sales within the IT sector, he became Sales Manager of a leading software house in Italy specializing in management systems. He later took on the role of Marketing and Communication Coordinator within the same company, expanding its offerings into areas such as Data Science, Customer Experience, and Digital Workplace.
His growing interest in business dynamics and management processes led him to broaden his expertise in consulting, where he developed a Business Unit dedicated to supporting companies on their digital transformation journey. Building on these experiences, in 2012 he launched his own entrepreneurial project as Founder and CEO of DFG, a company focused on Microsoft application solutions.
He implemented projects in the fashion, retail, distribution, and manufacturing sectors, and developed the first Made in Italy vertical solution based on the Microsoft Dynamics platform for the fashion & textile industry. After years of growth and becoming a market reference point, the company joined Var Group, where in 2023 he became Head of Microsoft Business Applications and CEO of Var Prime. Alongside his passion for business and technology, he has always cultivated a strong creative drive.
In 2010, together with John Malkovich, he founded OpificioJM, an innovative, multidisciplinary space that celebrates Italian craftsmanship, art, and cuisine.
In 2017, he launched Var Digital Art by Var Group, the company’s cultural center that promotes the integration of art, digital innovation, and business — now returning to the Convention.
