Lorenzo Maternini earned a degree in Technology-Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage from the Università della Svizzera Italiana. He worked as a new media consultant for the educational programs of the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
He is the co-founder of Talent Garden, the largest European network of spaces dedicated to training and the development of digital and technology enterprises. Since 2020, he has served as President of Muffin, a fintech company specializing in subsidized finance.
He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of CDP Venture Capital SGR – Fondo Nazionale Innovazione, a Board Member at Banca Guber, and a member of the Committee for Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Municipality of Milan. Since October 2023, he has also been a member of the Artificial Intelligence Committee at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
In 2024, he took on the role of CEO of Perspective AI, a company specializing in improving business processes through artificial intelligence solutions, as well as Director of the Randstad AI & Humanities Foundation, dedicated to research and the integration of artificial intelligence into the world of work with an ethical and human-centered approach.
