About Mia Ceran
Born in Germany and raised between Italy and the United States, Mia Ceran landed her first job at the age of nineteen as an intern at CNN’s Rome office. While working, she graduated with honors in Business Administration and, in 2009, began collaborating with Mediaset, where she worked on Matrix, TG5 (foreign affairs and economy), and Studio Aperto (politics). In 2011, she became a professional journalist and joined La7, working as a correspondent first for L’Aria che Tira and then for In Onda. She traveled extensively—around fifty trips per year—across Italy and abroad, producing reports on economic, political, and social issues.

After co-hosting Agorà alongside Gerardo Greco, for which she also became a writer, she went on to host the political talk show Millennium on Rai 3 in 2014. The following year, and for two editions (2015–2016), she co-hosted Unomattina Estate on Rai 1 with Alessio Zucchini, anchoring four hours of live coverage that included major events such as the Dhaka and Nice attacks, Brexit, and the central Italy earthquake.

In 2016, she began collaborating with Quelli che il Calcio, reporting from around the world (USA, Iceland, France, Portugal, Germany). This led to her partnership with the comedy trio Gialappa’s Band, who chose her to co-host Rai Dire Niùs, a satirical newscast on Rai 2, alongside Mago Forest. For five years, she also co-hosted Quelli che il Calcio with comedians Luca and Paolo.

In 2020, while the entertainment program was suspended due to the pandemic, she became the sole voice and author of The Essential, the first short-format daily news podcast produced by Will Media, which quickly became the most listened-to news podcast in Italy. From 2022 to 2023, she hosted the weekly program Nei tuoi panni on Rai 2. Since 2024, she has been hosting TV Talk on Rai 3, while also self-producing and narrating her new podcast Now What?.
